new york based artist christian marclay is a dynamo in my eyes. born the same year as my mother he's been on the art scene for ages. A lesser known fact is that he was a pioneer in "turntablism" beginning in the mid-1970's. his work is both enthralling and humorous and i still can't get over the fact that he's the same age as my mom.

i've skipped out on doing the 'home of the week' for a few weeks now, so here's a little slice. Elana Iaciofano's New Jersey home has such a simple, delicate elegance and I love the contrast between rooms with muted tones and the rooms with bold, rich color. I love her inspiration board full of unique typography and stationary samples.
