happy friday + oscar plans

Happy friday, loves!

This Sunday I'm going to an Oscar viewing party hosted by

the local art theater with my aunt and a good friend.

There's even a best dressed contest and my aunt is

dressing up like Holly Golightly just for fun. She keeps

trying to convince me to dress up like Marilyn, but if anything

I would certainly aim for Diane Keaton in Annie Hall.

Either way, I can't wait for dressing up + champagne!

Every time I roll out my mat to do yoga at home,

Lola immediately sits on it and stares at me like,

"you put this here for me, yes?"

Then during yoga she'll crawl underneath me,

bat at my hands to get attention, drop her favorite stuffed bunny 

on my face, along with countless other acts of adorable pestering.

So many things to love about this little lady.

How gorgeous are these photos of Kiki?

I just read this article in Lucky last night, 

and she seems like the most down to earth girl.

I love how she can range from cutesy and adorable,

to demure and sophisticated. Maybe to celebrate Kirsten's range, 

I'll rent Melancholia and Bring It On at the same time :)

When my husband and I were first dating, I lived in a tiny dive basement studio. 

One day I came home from work to discover that my beloved had drawn tons of these 

little hearts in chalk, all over my stoop. I already knew I wanted to marry the boy, 

but this small romantic gesture made me fall in love with him just a little bit more.

It's all about the little things in life and in love, right?
