more little things + rambling

The other night I declared myself a "strawberry enthusiast," as I could eat them daily and nightly.  I'm also an equal opportunity strawberry eater.  Give me your overly ripened, bruised, seemingly unattractive berries and I will happily eat them or at the very least, make a mean strawberry jam.

The mister reading Into the Wild by Jon Krakaur. (I love those hands!)

My old bike seat and super cool license plate. I love that seat but it was a little uncomfortable on the lady parts, if you know what I mean.

Hellooooo, nerdgirl! Some textbooks from high school/first years of college that I can't seem to part with.  I'm a math geek, clearly.  That modern biology book has been with me forever, and it's equal parts awesome + extremely dated. I keep telling myself that I'll eventually tear out a few pages and do something artsy and creative, but then that would mean desecrating my beloved books! The thought alone makes me nervous.

  1. 1. i do not discriminate when it comes to strawberries. i love them all, and they love to be in my mouth.

    2. i LOVE riding my bike, but sometimes i know i end up walking funny for a day or two because of that awful seat!

  2. I found it cute how the "Modern" Biology was not so Modern after all. I have a craving for strawberries right now, I've been eating too much strawberry flavoured things and not the fresh strawberries themselves.

  5. Likewise with strawberries. Have a whole jar of jam in my fridge right now and damn it is delicious.

  6. I love that you've kept textbooks from high school/college. Talk about old school! I, too, would be nervous about ripping apart a book's pages. It's sacrilegious as far as I'm concerned.

Strawberries are the best fruit, period.

  7. I think I used your copy of Modern Biology in my high school biology class. It looks amazingly similar. :)
